Ancient family of Sienese origin, linked to the rulers of Naples and Sicily, the Tolomeis received as a gift the feud of Puglia in 1400.00 and elected Racale as their home, making it a thriving and populous city. Of this family, we remember the famous Pia dei Tolomei of the Dante's Divina commedia and Porzia dei Tolomei who stayed in these ancient rooms.Today you can admire the ancient floors with origianale mosaic, the Byzantine period chimneys and other stone details, staying in the comfortable and spacious rooms equipped with all comforts and air-conditioned. The Court has two floors: a ground floor and a first floor, both composed of two rooms, with independent entrances.
