Positive: The outdoor Pool, showers, garden and outdoor patio areas are great and pristinely maintained and cleaned daily. Beds are comfortable. Windows have anti-mosquito nets. Washing machine in bathroom works well and is very useful when traveling with children! The host Maurizia is very friendly and provided quick responses.

Negative: The bungalows are not equipped with the basics that one may expect. No soap in bathroom, no dishwashing liquid, no suitable rubbish bins for the 5 recycling containers, no anti-mosquito plugs. Kitchen is equipped minimalistic and there is no olive oil, sugar, pepper, coffee, etc. Especially when traveling with kids and for short stays, it is cumbersome to have to spend valuable holiday time to buy essentials, which most other places provide. The DOK supermarket close by is expensive, so it is advisable to shop at a Coop or Conad in Casarano, before arriving here. To our surprise, the beds were not made. We arrived late with 2 children and a baby, and had to put on the clean bedsheets ourselves. This is not common practice and was not communicated to us. It would be helpful to inform this in advance. Despite the windows having nets, there are many mosquitos every evening and they manage to come inside. Therefore electric plugs are highly recommended! The host thankfully provided us with 1 anti-mosquito plug one day after our arrival. However, we recommend minimum 2 plugs and to have these available for future guests.
