This lovely modern house for 5 people is just 5 minutes from the beach and the heart of Torre dell’Orso, on Salento’s Adriatic Coast. With a charming garden and shaded terrace, it makes an ideal base for a relaxing holiday for family or friends.
At the front of the villa, there is a wide veranda that looks out over the garden and is furnished with a dining table and chairs for meals al fresco. Double doors lead into the spacious living area. Here guests will find another dining table and chairs as well as a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette is at the back of the villa and is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and coffee machine.

Location
The town of Torre dell’Orso is blessed with fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear sea. The villa is just a 15-minute walk from the coast. The town is a laid-back resort with a few clubs and many excellent restaurants catering to all budgets and tastes. There are shops and supermarkets within walking distance from the villa.
The house is an 8-minute walk from the Giardini del Sole sports complex which offers many different sports including mini-golf, tennis, volleyball and five-a-side football.
The peaceful town of Melendugno (10 minutes) makes a lovely day out. There are some interesting churches, as well as a 12th-century abbey, a small castle and several excellent restaurants. The weekly market (Wednesday) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home.
The city of Lecce (25 minutes) is famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture as well as its Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit, not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping. For a wide range of local produce, the twice-weekly market in Lecce is a treasure trove of the finest regional produce from fish, vegetables and fruit to olive oil and cheese.
