The 18th century renovated and independant apartments, obtained from the old stables of the Masseria, with vaulted ceilings, are part of the main country house resided by the owners. They overlook over the 240 acres farm of secular olive trees, Primitivo DOC vineyards and pine woods. The outdoor yard adjacent to both apartments and available for the tenants has two external showers, canopy, table, bench and chairs, parking spaces and an independent entrance. The photos of the house describe the interior in detail. In the evening the guests can enjoy the refreshing seabreeze from the pleasant rooftops. It is possible to use the indoor wood oven or the barbeque to grill fish and enjoy it with a nice cold glass of Primitivo di Manduria, a must! Distance to the sea is three Km and to Maruggio one. Maruggio is a small town famous for its figs, with supermarkets and a picturesque food market on Wednesdays. The nearest seaside village is Campomarino with crystal clear sea, quartz sand beaches and juniper scented dunes. The sea offers interesting excursions for snorkeling and fishing. The near chilly underground river Chidro, close to San Pietro, emerges at 200 meters from the coastline.
