With a stunning sea view just 650 meters (approx. 10 minutes walk) from the beach of Felloniche, near San Gregorio on the Ionian coast of Salento, this stone house with garden and small private pool can accommodate up to 8 guests.
The house consists of two parts: the front part, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with kitchen (equipped with oven, large fridge and dishwasher) and a beautiful covered panoramic terrace with splendid sea view. The rear part, particularly suitable for a couple with 1-2 children, consists of a bedroom, a bathroom and another "passage" room furnished with a slightly narrower double bed (approx. meters). The two parts of the house are connected to each other only externally. The house is ideal for one large or two smaller families or a group of friends.
Outside, a private garden with barbecue area and a small swimming pool (about 6x3m, depth approx. 1.2m), ideal for children but also for adults to cool off in total relaxation. Several free parking spaces are available directly in front of the house.
As can be seen from the photos, the house is attached to another neighbouring house, which is usually occupied only a few weeks a year in the high season. There are no spaces shared with the guests of the other house, if any; the garden, swimming pool and BBQ area are also for your exclusive use only.The closest beach is that of Felloniche (at 650 metres, about 10 minutes walk, 55 metres in altitude), a small sandy bay surrounded by rocks. The beach is free, but there are also some equipped beaches nearby.
Felloniche is a well-served seaside resort with bars and restaurants also to take away. A few hundred further on is San Gregorio, another well-known seaside resort on this stretch of coast.
Leuca is located about 5 km to the southeast, the kilometer-long sandy beaches of Pescoluse (like the Maldives of Salento) about 5 km to the north-west. Supermarkets and shops can be reached by car in a few minutes.
The beautiful view, the unlimited and excellent wifi connection as well as the tranquility and proximity to the beach and services make this house an ideal base also to work from home from Salento.
🛏️ Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €20 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided.
🧽 Final cleaning is not included. If you do not want to clean before departure, we can hire our cleaning company (surcharge: €80).
🐶 Dogs and pets are allowed (max 2 dogs or pets, surcharge €60 per dog/pet). You will need to inform us in advance.
⚡ Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption. The price per kW charged to guests was €0,22 on 19/01/2023, when this text was last updated, but as prices are fluctuating a lot and might hopefully decrease, your actual price per kW will be communicated a few days before your arrival based on the current market price.
We decided not to include electricity costs in the rent in order to: a) keep our rental prices stable compared to 2022, which is an ambitious goal given the 10%+ inflation and b) incentivate our guests to use electricity responsibly, helping us to reach our sustainability goals.
