Resort in Vernole, Acaya
ACAYA is 12 km from Lecce in the south-east direction. Formerly called Segine, it is currently the only example of a fortified city in Southern Italy. It is a true jewel of Renaissance military architecture. You can admire the magnificent castle, recently restored, walls and ramparts. The position is strategic:
3 km. : Acaya Golf Club, 18-hole course;
3 km: Le Cesine, naturalistic oasis;
6 km: "Strada Bianca" free beach, along the Lecce-Otranto coastal road.
Lecce-Otranto cycle route: near the house (50 mt.).
"Alle antiche mura" is a small apartment (40 sqm) consisting of kitchen-dining room, bedroom, bathroom with shower, but above all a magnificent terrace, with outdoor shower, overlooking the moat that surrounds the town, as well as of a 14th century tower.
The apartment is equipped with crockery, microwave, Hi Fi, TV, air conditioning, bed linen, bathroom, kitchen with weekly change.
It is part of my home and a light breakfast will be offered.
