This house was originally the old barn at Høgstein lighthouse station and was built at the same time as the lighthouse keeper's residence from 1860, which is located next door. The barn has now been converted into a fully-fledged residential building, and the original charm of the old timber walls has been preserved, creating a very special atmosphere of tranquility. You will be completely undisturbed and at peace, unless you need any help. We live in the orange house next door and are ready to help.
The house has a cozy wood-burning stove in the living room, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a bedroom on the second floor with a double bed and the option of an extra mattress on the floor.
