The apartment is on the ground floor. The front door, which is accessed via a shaded courtyard, leads directly into the living room, furnished with a sofa. Then there is a second living/dining room, with a table for 6, another sofa and a flat-screen TV. The separate kitchen is across the hallway from the dining room. It is fitted with attractive ceramic and wooden units and equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. A door from the kitchen leads out to a private courtyard, which is furnished a a dining table and chairs for relaxed meals al fresco.
There is a spacious roof terrace which is accessed through the communal hallway.

Just 8 minutes south of Porto Cesareo, the small town Sant’Isidoro is known for its fine white sandy beach which slopes gently into the sea, making it ideal for children and less confident swimmers. The famous bay of Torre Lapillo (15 minutes) to the north, has a sweep of fine, white sand and clear water. It is another popular beach for families.
Sant’Isidoro has a range of cafés and informal restaurants and Porto Cesareo has a vibrant nightlife scene.
For self-catering there are a few smaller grocery stores in Sant’Isidoro and Porto Cesareo’s weekly market (Thursday mornings) is a treasure trove of the best local produce.
Just 15 minutes away is the charming town of Nardo, with its Baroque squares and winding streets, which have yet to be overwhelmed by tourists. It is a food paradise and has many excellent restaurants serving fresh local food.
