The spacious and homely accommodation features many original stone features throughout and comprises of a living area and open plan kitchen/dining area, large 25sqm main bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room, twin bedroom (can be made up as a double on request), main bathroom and utility room with washing machine. To the rear of the property is a verandah with luxurious cushioned built-in sofa and dining table and chairs, providing the perfect place for shaded al-fresco lounging and dining. To the side of the verandah is the private swimming pool of 10 x 5 metres, surrounded by mature plants and flowers. (The swimming pool is open May to October and is for the exclusive use of guests at the trullo only). Steps lead up to the roof terrace which is perfect for watching the sunset, as well as taking in the 360 degree panoramic countryside views which stretch across to Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca. The trullo sits in its own grounds of 10,000sqm and is situated on a quiet private no-through country lane amongst olive groves and vineyards. The location provides wonderful open countryside views, and is just 7km from the beautiful Baroque town of Martina Franca and stunning hilltop town of Locorotondo. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Alberobello is just 10km away, and just a little further are the popular towns of Cisternino and Ostuni. Beautiful beaches on both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts can be reached in a 30-40 minute drive, whilst the must see towns of Matera and Lecce are both just a 75 minute drive away. The airports at Bari and Brinidisi are both roughly a 60 minute drive. The English owners live just down the road from the trullo and as such are always available for help and advice if required, such as restaurant recommendations, suggestions of places to visit etc etc, whilst of course ensuring your total and complete privacy at all times.
