Portland Bill is a 30-minute walk along one of the many walk paths across the Isle of Portland. Portland is renowned for being a place to see wildlife with owls inhabiting the west cliffs. St Georges Church is a short walk away and is open to the public, where you are allowed to ring its iconic bell. The cemetery has many fine monuments and gravestones, all carved from the finest Portland stone. Portland stone was also used to construct St Pauls Cathedral.
