Situated on the splendid harbour front, in the beautiful historic picturesque fishing village of Portpatrick, rightly regarded as the ’Jewel in the Crown’ of Dumfries and Galloway. Enjoy a thrilling high-speed RIB boat trip, or a wildlife cruise around the Rhin’s of Galloway, where you can encounter seals and sea birds. Golfers are spoilt for choice with numerous 9-hole and 18-hole courses close at hand, with the Turnberry course within easy touring distance. Walkers and mountain bikers will be delighted with Scotland’s longest coast to coast walk, the Southern Upland Way, which has Portpatrick as its starting point. Visit the wonderful Logan Botanic Gardens, explore the remains of Dunskey Castle or catch the ferry from Cairnryan and visit Ireland.
Entering this lovely stylish property into the spacious hall through to the light and bright comfortable lounge/diner. Relax on the comfy sofas and enjoy a great movie together on the TV/DVD or admire the amazing sea views, and on those cooler evenings enjoy cosy nights in front of the lovely wood burner, there is also a selection of DVDs and board games. There is a spacious dining area where you can enjoy the lovely sea and harbour views, an ideal place to enjoy family or romantic meals together. Also located off the hallway is the lovely double bedroom with comfy small double bed. Next is the shower room, with shower and WC. Completing the ground floor is the well-equipped kitchen, the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, a handy dishwasher and French doors leading directly out to the beautiful fully enclosed garden. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you are met with the wonderful master bedroom enjoying magnificent sea views with lovely comfy king-size bed and ample storage space. Followed by the cosy twin bedroom with views over the harbour and out to sea. Next is the spacious and stylish bathroom, with hand held shower over bath and WC, followed by the handy utility room with washing machine and ample drying space.
Venturing outside to the fantastic fully enclosed beautiful mature garden, with direct access from the kitchen, providing a haven for dogs and children. Enjoy al fresco dining or a lazy evening stargazing perhaps with a wee dram, nice glass of wine or a good local ale. There is roadside parking available in front and at the side of the property, subject to availability. Free car parks are also available within walking distance from the property.
