The local garage sells some essentials, and the nearest shops are 6 miles away, so please come prepared. Two more pubs/restaurants are in Falstone and Shilling Pot (9 miles). Hire a bike to explore the myriad of mountain bike trails and children can follow the Gruffalo Spotters’ Trail. Explore the 26-mile Lakeside Way spotting wonderful wildlife and birds, and enjoy the night-time splendours of the starry sky with Kielder Observatory 3 miles away.
Access to this welcoming cottage is through the front door into a small hallway. Head into the bright and inviting lounge where you can rest weary legs after exploring this stunning area and the many visitor attractions.
