The detached, early 19th-century cottage has been sympathetically renovated, carefully preserving many of its characterful original features. The decor is calming and neutral, and you’ll find a whole host of homely touches to make your stay as relaxed as possible. Enter the cottage into the hallway, where you can store all your outdoor gear, before moving through to the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with its striking tiled floor and exposed brickwork. The handmade kitchen, crafted from reclaimed pine, is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break and features an extending wooden table that can seat up to six diners. After dinner, move through to the inviting lounge, where a cosy wood burner is nestled in an original inglenook fireplace. This room has ample comfortable seating for everyone to spread out and relax, as well as a Smart TV for enjoying movie nights together. Upstairs, two tastefully decorated king-size bedrooms await, both with sumptuous linens and plenty of storage for all your holiday attire.
