Ideally situated on the edge of the quaint village of Goathland – famous as the location for the TV series Heartbeat – this pretty cottage is perfect for exploring the magical North York Moors. Trails lead in every direction, with several beautiful waterfalls to discover including Thomason Foss and Mallyan Spout (both within a mile). The village is on the beautiful North York Moors Railway which leads through the stunning countryside to the pretty market town of Pickering (14.5 miles) and the popular coastal town of Whitby (9.5 miles). There are also miles of bike trails, or you could discover picturesque towns and villages including Rosedale Abbey (13.5 miles), Danby (17 miles) and, on the coast, Robin Hood's Bay (12.5 miles).
This charming single-level holiday home has been tastefully decorated and retains original features including exposed beams, heavy stone sills and traditionally rendered plasterwork. The light and welcoming lounge/diner features comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner. Heading into the stylish shaker-style kitchen you will find it fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, ceramic hob and oven.
