Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Sokcho is a great location and this hotel is right on the beach. The beds were comfy. The TVs worked. The bathroom fixtures were nice. We requested rooms next to each other and they put someone right between us. Not sure why, the hotel was pretty empty. But they were close to each other so I appreciate that.

Negative: There is nobody at the property to talk to if you’re having a problem. You will have to communicate via your phone/internet. Which became tricky for us at times because we only had one phone with internet capabilities. Getting into our rooms was harder than it needed to be because of this complication. Also our rooms smelled like cigarette smoke but it wasn’t like we could complain to the front desk so we just opened the doors. Also it had those bathrooms where the walls are glass and you can see people inside (but there was privacy blur). I just hate those bathroom walls and thought I should warn others. lol.
