You can take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade where you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The beach is overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts, a fish restaurant, arcades and a surf shop making it the ideal spot for a day at the seaside.

There is a bus route through Moorsholm which allows you to connect to further routes to enjoy the local area.
You can travel to Loftus then hop on the Arriva North East 5 which travels through to Middlesbrough. If you want to explore the coast, take the X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Runswick Bay and Sandsend, as well as the seaside town of Whitby.
