There is no need for you to interact with us but should you need anything we`d be delighted to help. #teamhiggi are a friendly bunch who love Bristol and it is worth noting that Luke (who was born in Bristol) knows it like the back of his hand (well the best bits anyway) and he and Delyth eat out a lot. Luke is thus a veritable goldmine of places to see, things to do, restaurants to eat at, bars worth a visit and how to get about. We`ll provide contact numbers ahead of check-in
higgihaus@hampton (#46) is a mere stone`s throw from Cotham Hill and the Whiteladies Road, both chock full of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, leisure facilities (including a cinema and gym) and all the transport options you’ll likely need when staying in our awesome city (including the train at Clifton Down). The Downs (400 acres of amazing parkland) is a hop, skip and a jump away in one direction and the city centre is a short walk in the other. Clifton Village, the Gloucester Road, Stokes Croft and the Harbourside are all easily reached on foot. The BBC, Bristol Royal Infirmary and Bristol University are all nearby.
Parking
The higgihaus@hampton has off-road parking at the rear of the property and with a little bit of juggling, could accommodate up to five cars (depending on size!). Should you have more cars than can park at the rear, then on-street parking is free on the weekends. Between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, you`ll need a parking permit (which we can provide at a cost of £10 per day).
Clifton Down Shopping Centre also provides secure and overnight parking and is less than a five-minute walk away
