From the local station, hop on the La’al Ratty Steam Engine and enjoy the 7.5-mile journey to the coastal village of Ravenglass. Spend a day by the water for a family-friendly trip or visit the Roman Bath House (9 miles) for a spot of history. Return back and enjoy a meal out in Boot to complete your day. The beautiful Stanley Ghyll waterfall is 6 miles from your door and is a great picnic spot for all to enjoy.
Head through the garden gate and make your way inside this welcoming cottage. The open-plan kitchen/diner is a lovely place in which to relax.
