The area is perfect for outdoor pursuits; you can hire a rowing boat, kayak, Canadian canoe, pedalo, stand up paddleboard or fishing boat and have fun on Llangorse Lake, the largest natural lake in South Wales, along with activities including climbing, mountain biking and horse riding throughout the area (3 miles). For slower-paced days, there are some lovely market towns such as Hay-on-Wye, the town of books, Crickhowell and Brecon, all within a 13.5-mile radius of the property.
The cottage is situated along a peaceful country lane, enjoying a rural location with enclosed gardens overlooking the Black Mountains.
