Closer to home, Porthallow offers the fabulous Fat Apples Café, which serves great food using local produce. The nearest shop is just of couple of miles away in St Keverne and The Five Pilchards Inn in Porthallow is a lovely spot to pop to for dinner and a drink. This property is directly on the midway point of the famous South West Coast Path. There is a large carved stone marker on Porthallow Beach. This is the perfect place to stay for celebrating reaching halfway along the path if you are one of the brave few that take on the 630 mile trek!
