The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, known as Suffolk’s foodie capital, is just 6.5 miles away, while Newmarket is only 9 miles away, and the historic sites and unique museums of Cambridge can be reached within 24 miles.

Set to work in the kitchen, perhaps with local ingredients picked up on your travels, and whip up delicious meals, with the help of a dishwasher for cleaning up afterwards. Also on this level, you’ll find the super-king-size bedroom, a tranquil space with patio doors to the courtyard, and the spacious bathroom, which includes a bath as well as a walk-in shower. On the first floor you’ll find the inviting lounge, tucked under a sloping ceiling with rows of timber beams, and boasting a plush sofa and a Smart TV.
On sunny days you’ll want to spend time in the gravelled courtyard area at the front of the property, where furniture is provided for drinks and meals alfresco. Private parking for two cars is also available, making arrivals and departures easy.
